To view your handiwork you just plug it into the computer and up pops the file to view. You can charge it by plugging it The Camera works great its easy to set up especially with the step by step instructions on how to network it. I have access with my laptop to view and my cellphone with the free app which also sends me alerts when it senses any motion. The only issues were I wish it came with a mic and a battery pack which would be useful as well for easier placements instead of relying for ac outlets for the transmitter. Overall great product!!! Night Vision: The night vision feature also works great and automatically so as soon as I enter in a dark room it switch to night vision even if I am in the middle of recording. Battery: The battery last pretty long but if you are recording with night vision on then the battery last half as much. I'd say without I got about 5hrs of non-continuous use. Sound: At first the device was not able to record sound even though I switched the sound ON.
